Eisha and James | Charleston Engagement Session

When we are lucky enough to have a couple like Eisha and James in front of the camera we feel blessed. We began the session downtown.  We explored and found some hidden gems throughout our walk.  We then headed to Folly Beach to catch the sunset.  I think you’ll agree, that sunset was pretty amazing.

Nick and Nikki | Charleston Wedding Planners

We are so happy that we had the pleasure of planning Nikki and Nick’s wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island. Nick and Nikki are from New Jersey, but now reside in Charleston, South Carolina and absolutely love it here. You could not have asked for better weather or a better crowd. They tied the knot out on the Grand Lawn, and then shortly there after, they headed over to the Side Terrace Lawn for some cocktails and appetizers. To kick off the reception, the wedding party entered into a Kid Rock song and the party began! To cap off the night, we had a LED balloon send off, complete with an old antique send off vehicle.

Congratulations to Nikki & Nick!

Jen and Doug | Charleston Wedding Photographers

I first met Jen and Doug back in October of 2013. They were guests at Jen’s cousins wedding and later told me how great her images were and that they had to have me at their wedding. I was honored and excited to photograph their wedding. I had never shot a wedding at Old Wide Awake, where their festivities were taking place, which made this wedding even better. Going into a new location brings excitement and new ideas for wedding images. Some photographers get nervous photographing at new locations, but I’m different as it excites and challenges me to find the great shots.

Leading up to their wedding, they hired me to do their engagement session as well. During the session we discussed the look and feel for their wedding images. They trusted me, but wanted more natural and less dramatic images when capturing the bride and groom images. I hope these two have the happiest lives together because they were just awesome to work with.

Congratulations to Jen & Doug!

Eisha and James | Charleston Wedding Photograher

We had the opportunity to photograph Eisha and James for their engagement session earlier in the year. So we knew their wedding was going to be awesome. They decided to have a mix ceremony including Hindu and American traditions. It was a great change of pace for us because we don’t get many Hindu weddings. The amount of detail and great outfits makes the Hindu ceremony so interesting. Founders Hall was a perfect location for their ceremony and reception, a mix of indoor and outdoor usage was perfect. Hope your marriage is filled with much love and happiness.

Congratulations to Eisha & James!

Jayme and Tom | Charleston Engagement Session

Jayme and Tom’s Charleston engagement session was such a great time.  They are both from West Virginia and relocated to Charleston to fulfill their dreams. We began the session at one of their favorite locations in Charleston, The Legare Waring House. Nestled on the property of Charlestowne Landing, this beautiful location is filled with atmosphere you’d expect from historic Charleston. We then headed downtown to finish off the session. They expressed how much they enjoyed the night time photos and how dramatic and different they are. These are fun to produce and give our clients a little something different.

Molly and Ryan | Charleston Wedding Photographers

I met Molly and Ryan at their hotel and we preceded to walk around the market area of town for photo opportunities.  We then made our way to Carolina Girl Yacht for the ceremony and nice little trip around the Harbor.  It’s a great venue if you have a small group for your wedding.  After touring the Charleston Harbor, we drifted along the East Bay St side of the Harbor for the ceremony.   After the ceremony I spent some time with Molly and Ryan walking downtown for some additional photos.  Molly and Ryan let me have full creative control throughout the day.  They did want a mix of styles, with natural day time photos and a mix of dramatic night time shots.  The small reception for their wedding was held at High Cotton on East Bay Street in Charleston, Sc.

Congratulations to Molly and Ryan!

Dena and Mike | Charleston Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of photographing Dena and Mike for their Charleston Engagement session in beautiful downtown Charleston. We ventured into some new territory for me.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you can’t go wrong with a downtown Charleston engagement session. There is so much character on every street, you almost don’t even have to look for it. In planning with Dena and Mike they told me that they wanted a more natural feel and bright look to their images.

I can’t wait until your wedding in October at the Creek Club in Ion. It’s going to be wonderful!

Kim and John | Charleston Wedding Planners, Photographers, & DJs

Kim and John were married at on of Charleston’s most beautiful locations, Magnolia Plantation. Magnolia books at least a year in advance so you better book way in advance if you want to get married there. No matter what month of the year, you can’t go wrong with Magnolia Plantation. They had their ceremony on the lawn overlooking the white bridge. Their lovely southern reception was held on the Veranda Porch. They completed their beautiful day with a traditional sparkler send off.

Congratulations to Kim & John!
