Courtenay and Nick met while playing co-ed soccer at Patriot’s Point in Mount Pleasant, SC. The two became friends, and two years later began dating. After 4 years of dating, Nick took Courtenay (and their two dogs) to their favorite little cabin in the mountains of NC to celebrate her 30th birthday. When Courtenay opened the door to the cabin, she found rose petals, candles, and a sign reading, “Will you Marry Me?” After some crying, she said, “YES!”
Although Courtenay and Nick were relocating to Greensboro, NC that upcoming summer, there was no doubt in their minds where they wanted to tie the knot: Charleston. They got married at Harborside East, with the quintessential Charleston Ravenel Bridge in sight.
The wedding day could not have been more perfect. The weather was warm (a highlight for many northern guests who are used to snow in November). The Pinnacle trio were in perfect harmony with one another. Linda kept things moving at the perfect pace to get the couple and guests on to the dance floor. Matt played tunes for the guests of all ages and arranged a few special surprise songs, one of which was a serenade for the bride by her uncles. The photographers captured beautiful moments of the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready downtown, as well as the groom and groomsmen getting ready on Isle Of Palms.
In their words, Courtenay and Nick “loved every second of their wedding weekend, and are grateful that Pinnacle was there every step of the way to make their favorite city the setting for their perfect wedding.”
Congratulations Courtenay and Nick!
